We need to talk about Kevin

If you follow us on Instagram, you might have seen a new face in our Millport reel we shared this week—consider this your formal introduction to the latest O Streeter, Kevin Biggins!

Kevin is no stranger to the studio; he joined us for an internship back in 2015 when we inexplicably made him lie down holding a plate of fruit and chocolate for an Instagram post. Don’t ask. Thankfully, that didn’t put him off too much and he returned to take up the motion design reins with us earlier this year.

O Street Designer, Kevin Biggins Instagram post from 2015

After graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee, Kevin honed his skills during seven years with global agency Weber Shandwick. He is an experienced designer and animator with a knack for visualising complex ideas.

A man of many interests, Kevin is an avid doodler, enamel pin collector, gaming aficionado, theme park enthusiast and illustrated mascot fan with a seemingly endless knowledge of pop culture! It’s also worth mentioning he has taken on the role of studio DJ effortlessly, somehow pleasing everyone—no mean feat.

Big thanks to our pal, Peter Dibdin, for another brilliant yellow office chair portrait.

Stay tuned for more work from Kevin, and if you’re thinking about bringing some motion to your brand, get in touch!

At number #2 in our best use of colour on album covers, we have rainbows! It’s no colour and every colour in one. Kinda cheating. As with previous blogs in the series, I will chat through the album covers that...
Colour in Music #3 Colour Countdown — Red

#3 Colour Countdown – Red

The story goes that Talking Heads agreed that each band member would design an album cover. They met at Rhode Island School of Design, so they had the chops. When David (you can take the boy out of Dumbarton but…)...
