Label O’ Love is an ode to self-adhesive vinyl from days gone by. A perfect pocket-sized book featuring stickers from the 60s and 70s originally made by local Glasgow printers McGavigan & Co. After years of gathering dust in an old box, the collection was passed down to O Street.
Label O’ Love has been a cherished side project (a labour of love, if you will) for a few years now, taking some twists and turns along the way.
After starting life as an Instagram page dedicated to our collection of vintage stickers, we dabbled with making our own merch and flirted with the idea of larger than life murals, before settling into more familiar territory… creating a perfectly crafted publication.
The book is a collection of our favourite stickers with a blank canvas for a front cover. The idea being you use the pack of stickers included to create your very own piece of sticky mayhem—giving each copy a unique cover design!
The book’s release was celebrated with a suitably themed launch party at our Glasgow Studio, complete with window vinyls, coasters, and the original stickers laid out in tribute. Plus beers, of course, thanks to our pals Fyne Ales and Epochal Brewery. Which also left a few sticky marks!
We also designed a four colour risograph print to bring a retro pop of sticky vibrance to your wall.
Hit us up to buy a copy of the book, a print or find out more about the project!
